Our client, a leading retail design specialist in Leicestershire, has a great opportunity for a Mid-Weight Creative 2D Graphic Designer to join one of the industry’s leading teams.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with some of the of the world’s biggest brands.
You will already have proven experience of designing for POS/Retail and be looking for that next step in your career.
You will work alongside the 3D Concept Design team to assist with the application of brand assets and graphics onto retail display equipment. You should have a good understanding of marketing and brand communications, and also an affinity for tracking visual trends.
Key requirements:
Highly motivated and passionate about design.
A natural interest in design and tracking visual trends.
An appreciation for how marketing and visual communication can be used to connect with consumers and build brand loyalty.
Ability to think creatively and develop your own ideas under the guidance and direction of the Design Manager.
A good listener, able to take direction and understand the point of view of others, whilst also able to explain ideas.
A positive, can-do attitude & calmness under pressure.
Hardworking with a strong work ethic; willing to deal with new challenges.
Good communicator with an ability to take feedback constructively.
Experience working in Graphic Design for Retail/POS is essential.
A real desire to share knowledge and foster development in less senior team members.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop).
Experience using 3D CAD software such as Blender/Cinema4D/3DS Max is preferred but not essential.
This is offered as a full-time permanent job and our client requires someone who is happy to work onsite.
